  • celebrating birthdays and holidays
  • coordinating medical and psychological appointments for the child

“ It's pretty cool going to school at Barium Springs where there are only a few kids in my classroom. If I need help I can just raise my hand and the teacher is available to help me on the spot. We do lots of fun activities that make the day fly by and we are learning a lot. We like it here, but we hope that we will be able to go back to school with our friends next year. ”
Takima and Shaquille, age Age 11 and 13
