Would you like to volunteer for Barium Springs but don't know how? We have a variety of ways for you to volunteer and help children and families. It is a rewarding experience and helps out in so many ways!  There are many opportunities to help throughout the year. However, please note that because of our privacy laws and confidential nature of what we do at Barium Springs, volunteer contact with children is very limited.  This is to protect not only the children, but our volunteers as well.  Thank you in advance for understanding.  Download our volunteer flyer for printing for your group or organization by clicking here. 

Great ways you can get involved...

Volunteering as an Individual    Volunteer Application
Because our privacy laws and confidential nature of what we do at Barium Springs, volunteer contact with our children is very limited.  This is to protect not only our children, but our volunteers as well.  The individual opportunities for a volunteer will depend on your location.  We require that you take a tour before volunteering.

Volunteer as a Group   Group Volunteer Application
- Host a Dinner for one of our Programs:  provide dinner for one of our community programs such as Strengthening Families or Big Group.
- General Cleaning and Groundskeeping:  Tight budgets this year have forced us to cut back spending in many areas and we could use some extra help.  Various buildings are in need of dusting, window and floor cleaning and more.  We also need help with weeding, cleaning grounds and landscaping projects. Groups are also needed to wash the interior and exterior of our agency vehicles that transport our children.  Supplies as well as labor, are needed for these types of projects.

Organize a Supply Drive   Group Volunteer Application
Organize a collection drive for paper products or hygiene items, snacks and juice boxes, book drive or movie night items for our children.  Providing the basic necessities for our children and families is a priority.  Gift cards, gas cards, school supplies, new underwear and socks, and non-perishable food are other great ideas for a supply drive.

Organize a Fundraiser or Host a Benefit   Group Volunteer Application
If you would like to organize a fundraiser, no donation is too small!  Whether it's a community garage sale, spaghetti dinner, golf tournament, car wash or bake sale, your group can help make a real difference by raising money.  If you would like to host a benefit, suggest your office, business or organization to host a party to benefit our children.  This is especially great for holiday parties.  One of our staff will attend, speak and/or bring Barium Springs materials for display.
