Now, Jayden is very close to being adopted. Without Barium Springs Home for Children, who knows how many more foster homes Jayden would have been placed in. Barium Springs is working with Jayden and his adoptive parents to make sure this will be his "forever" home.

About the Program
At Barium Springs, we have eight group homes. Five homes are located in
A Teaching-Family Home:
- Models a positive, family-style environment
- Identifies and addresses concerns within the youth's family, with the goal of each youth returning home, if possible
- Encourages young people to value themselves and their family
- Assists youth in developing sound values, high principles, and good morals
- Develops social, emotional, behavioral, academic, spiritual and self-help skills to each youth
Children living in our group homes often continue attending public school. Children have the opportunity to attend church with the group home and they are encouraged to participate in youth group and community activities.
