Thank you for your interest in our services at Barium Springs. We gladly offer a variety of programs to meet the needs of children and families in North Carolina and accept referrals from parents, educators, department of social services, mental health providers, juvenile justice system, pastors and/ or other family members.

Early Childhood Services and NC Pre K
For inquiries and referrals regarding our early childhood programs, including NC Pre K, childcare or early childhood services, please contact 704-872-7351.

Residential Placement, Day Treatment, Community Based Services and Other Services
Services that are provided may be covered by Medicaid, NC Healthchoice and other funding that is available to clients based on meeting established criteria by each authorizing entity for payment. For families that do not qualify for the above listed coverage plans, private fees can be established on a sliding scale. Fees are based on family income for parent or relative custodians. This is done on a case by case decision and takes into consideration family financial considerations as well.

If you are already familiar with our agency and would like to go ahead and fill out an application for admission, please feel free to do so. The NC Application for Admission is required by the state and can only be completed by the custodial parent (s) or legal custodian and must be a legal resident of North Carolina.
